好きこそものの上手なれ What one likes, one will do well.

A little children's possibility is infinite. But identifying their type of talent is very difficult. Because it's diverse. Flexibility, instantaneous power, reflexes, feeling of technique, ability to imitate, etc. Its element is endless even in dance.
I'm thinking the most important and first needed talent is a liking. It mean "Does the child like it ?" If the child doesn't like it, it can not enjoy. That means it can not make an effort with fun and pleasure. It has no future.

子どもたちの可能性は無限大です。しかし、それは多様であるだけに、その才能の向く先を見極めるのはとっても難しいことです。柔軟性、瞬発力、反射神経、技術的な感覚、真似する能力、などなど、踊ることの才能だけでも上げたらきりがありません。
私は、もっとも重要でまず最初に必要な才能は”好き”ということだと思います。子供がそれを好きかどうかということです。もし子供がそれを好きじゃなかったら、その子は楽しめないでしょう。楽しんで、あるいは喜んで努力することが出来ないということです。未来はありません。
