世界選手権のたびに思う I think whenever world championship.

考えてみれば、ロシア、ベラルーシは出場していないんですよね。

先日行われた世界陸上も世界水泳も、その他あらゆるスポーツの国際大会にロシアがいないことに、もうなんとなく慣れてしまっています。

しかし、ロシアはスポーツ大国でしたし、新体操においては特に存在感が強かっただけに、ロシアがいないというのは、やっぱり少し寂しく感じます。

スポーツの国際大会があるたびに、早く平和が訪れるよう願うのは私だけではないはず。

Come to think of it, Russia and Belarus didn't participate. 

We got used to see no Russian in Athletic and Swimming world championship in just the other day and any other international competition of any sports.

But Russia was the superpower of sports, and Russian have presence especially in Rhythmic gymnastics. So their absence makes me desolate. 

I'm sure I'm not the only one person who wishes peace will come soon whenever any international competition is held.
