音楽が先か、ダンスが先か Witch is first the music or the dance?

上は超有名な白鳥の湖の中の「４羽の小さな白鳥たちの踊り」です。

下はセルゲイ・ポルーニンの最近の作品「In your room」です。

上は、曲を聞けばダンスが思い浮かぶし、無音の映像を見れば曲が頭の中に流れるという人は多いのではないでしょうか。

それに比べて、下は曲を聞いても、この映像の通りのダンスを思い浮かべることはできませんね。

ただ、どうでしょう。無音で映像を見てみてください。色んな音楽が聞こえてくるような気がしませんか？

ダンスは音楽に合わせて振り付けをするのが普通ですが、その逆があっても面白いんじゃないかと思いました。試みとしてではなく、しっかりした作品として見てみたいものです。

Below is Sergei Polunin's recently performance "In your room".

Above is... Many people can imagine the dance when listen that music, and also can imagine the music even if watching that dance video silently. 

Compared to that, below is...  We can't imagine the dance as this is, right ?

But, Can you feel ? When seeing the video without sound, I can hear the various music.

Choreographers usually make a choreograph to the music. But I think the reverse will be interesting too. I want to see authentic it not a trial.
