ダンスは体育の日本 ダンスは芸術の欧米

日本にも全日本小中学生ダンスコンクールっていうのがあるらしいです。（詳細はこちら）　数年前から体育の中の必須種目にダンスが入り、それに便乗したんでしょう。

もちろん本気で将来も考えてダンスをやっている人もいるとは思いますが、全体的にはせいぜい文化祭のレベルみたいです。当然、上の動画のような作品は期待できません。
文化の違いと言われればそれまでですが、そもそもダンスが体育の授業の一部っていう事とか、このコンクールもスポーツ庁とか体育連盟が後援していて、文化庁は関係ないってところが、ちょっとずれてるなぁと感じてしまいます。
ダンスは体育でスポーツなんだそうですよ、日本では。

Apparently there is Japan dance concours for children in Japan.
The educational policy made the dance should be compulsory a few years ago. The concours seems piggyback.

Some of them do the dance seriously aim for the future. But that concours seems level like a school festival recital.  Absolutely we can't expect the dance like the movie above.
The culture is different. Yes, I know.
I'm feeling incompatibility. Because a dance within a physical education of school class, the sports agency and physical federation support this concours and the culture agency don't touch it.
A dance is physical education and sports in Japan.
