マイナーの悲しさ Sadness of minor subject.

USA has never been excellent in Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG). They are always so so. Though they are excellent in Artistic Gymnastics, Figure Skate, and also Artistic Swimming in the past. Why ?
The answer is easy. I think, probably RG isn't popular in USA.
Have you ever seen the audition TV show ? Many talent who maybe has possibility for RG appear on the audition. Many excellent girls aims a dancer. It can't be helped, because dance is far more popurar than RG. There is the same trend in Japan, isn't it ?

アメリカは新体操（RG）で強かったことがありません。いつもそこそこです。体操やフィギュアスケート、かつてはアーティスティック・スイミングも強かったのに。なぜでしょう？
答えは簡単。アメリカではRGは人気がないからです。
アメリカのテレビのオーディション番組見たことありますか？　たぶんRGに可能性を持っていそうな子がいっぱい出ています。多くの優秀な女の子たちは、みんなダンサーを目指すんですよね。RGよりダンスのほうが断然人気があるんだからしょうがないですね。日本も同じ傾向かな？
