もうすぐ北京オリンピックですね。

TOKYO２０２０からわずか半年足らずでまたオリンピックなので、ちょっと違和感も感じます。

でも、１９９４年にリレハンメル大会から冬季オリンピックを２年ずらす前までは、毎回同じ年に冬季と夏季のオリンピックをやっていたんですよ。

夏季の大会に比べ、競技ができる地域も限られているし、その分世界の競技人口も少ない冬季の種目ですが、オリンピックとなれば選手たちは真摯に一生懸命競技することでしょう。その頑張る姿を応援したいと思います。

Beijing Olympics are just around the corner.

I feel something is wrong because only about 6 months have passed after TOKYO2020.

However, both the summer and winter Olympics ware held in the same year until the year of event were shifted in 1994 Lillehammer.

The winter games can only be held in a limited area, and competitive population of winter games is fewer than summer games. Even so, players will compete seriously and with their best effort. 

I'll support such them.
